An X Factor hopeful has revealed how he went from a life of luxury to sleeping rough and stealing food as a teenager after his mother kicked him out of her home. James Arthur, 24, told how he had been brought up in the Middle East, where he was privately educated, but went off the rails when he moved back to Britain following a family break-up. The Middlesbrough singer, who was seen impressing all four judges with his audition on Saturday’s episode of the ITV talent show, is now a favourite to reach the live finals.
James is definitely a star that is rising. Giving a performance with every cell of your body and soul full of emotion is one that connects with your audience and James Arthur’s performance of “Young” by Tulisa on X Factor is one such performance.
